Order and Shipping Policies
PRICING: Please note that all prices are in U.S. dollars. Shipping and Handling will be added to your total.
ORDER PROCESSING POLICY: After you submit your order, you will receive a computer-generated confirmation that your order was placed. If you are paying by credit card, your card will be authorized at time of ordering. When any payment is processed for an order placed on our website it will reflect on your credit card statement from "Tranquility Alley". If you are paying by check or money order, please make check payable to Tranquility Alley and email us to get address on where to send payment. Your order will be shipped within 10 business days after receipt of cleared payment. If you need 2nd Day Delivery or Overnight Delivery, please email us. (Exception; Custom Made Items will require longer processing and shipping times.) All Italian Ceramic/ Volcanic Tables are custom designed at time of order. The average timeframe for ordering a tabletop is 12 weeks. During peak season months it may be delayed another month as Italians take vacation. All custom designed sinks, tiles take 8 weeks on average to produce and ship. You will be updated as progress is made on all orders.
SALES TAX: Illinois residents will be charged sales tax.
OUR SHIPPING POLICY: Most of our items are shipped by USPS, FedEx and UPS ground. It takes 7 - 10 days to process and ship orders unless there is a backorder or customer order. Higher shipping fees will apply to all orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and all other off shore U.S. territories. (We will notify you of these charges) after placing your order, or contact us for a quote to your area. Shipping may take up to 3-4 weeks for delivery (exception: back orders and out of stock items). All Italian ceramic/volcanic tabletops take approximately 12 weeks but can be delayed due to peak season or by shipping from Italy to the US. We will keep you updated on the progress of these orders. All custom sinks, tiles take approximately 8 weeks to produce/ship too.
OUR RETURN POLICY: We know you will be happy with your merchandise. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please contact us. We ONLY offer EXCHANGE ONLY or in store credit.
BACK ORDERS/SPECIAL ORDERS: All items that are special orders or products that are on back order will still be charged once the order is placed. Shipping charges will apply when the item is shipped to you and released from a back order status. You may receive an exchange for any backordered item or receive in store credit ONLY.
OUR DAMAGE POLICY: We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, then please e-mail us right away for instructions. DO NOT MAIL THE DAMAGED GOODS BACK TO US or to any of our Suppliers. Please see above policy for returning merchandise.
