Tranquility Alley table tops are frost and water proof, resist salt and any other atmospheric agent, including low temperatures. They are shock and scratch resistant to any kind of cleaning agent. This comes from a double firing process followed by priming over the surface that has to be hand painted. The painters and decorators, who are backed by years of experience and specialization, give their manual and artistic touches to each collection. Paying attention to the smallest detail, they bestow on each piece a warm, luminous and antique feel, together with a beauty that is destined to grow day after day. These are the ingredients that contributes to the unique quality of our table tops, making each one of them a true piece of art.

Marco, born the son of a bank director for Banco di Roma and a homemaker, from Pescara, Abruzzo Italy where he derives some of his inspiration from his pride in being of Italian descent.
He migrated to the United States to pursue his passion of the arts. Marco has over 25 years experience and was highly trained by other highly skilled Italian Artisans who specialize in authentic venetian plaster techniques and oil painting.
You probably don’t recognize the name. Yet, But if you have eaten at any one of the Chicago area’s most popular and exceptional restaurants that feature Italian cuisine, you may have felt his passionate presence.
Essentially untapped until now, Marco has been a budding artist since he was a young boy in Italy. Marco was the winner of Italy’s European Day art contest three years in a row.
"For a very long time, being an artist has been a hobby, until now. My goal is to paint for a living. To get up every day and do what I really love... and now I am finally living that dream."
Creator of the murals that adorn Chicago’s walls, Marco’s true colors are slowly but surely being noticed, thanks to the people who have given him a chance to put his imagination and paint brushes to their full potential.
A poet, a painter and a Chicago resident make Marco unique and destined for a wall of fame.
